Team Taya's Jordan Elliott competed at the ACT Taekwondo Championships at the Australian Institute of Sports Combat Centre in Canberra held last 4-5 June 2016 bringing home a Silver Medal in the Blackbelt Junior under 73 kgs, good comeback from long layoff

Our Team Taya athletes and coaches have achieved excellent results at the recent 2016 Gold Coast Open held at the Carrara Indoor Stadium from 28-29 May 2016 bringing home total of 6 Golds, 4 Silvers and 3 Bronzes all in sparring events. There were many "firsts" for our athletes - competing and some winning against higher ranked opponents in Blue Belt and Red Belt divisions, first time experiencing Daedo electronic scoring and head kicks for our cadets, it also marked the successful comeback of Jordan Elliott after a long layoff from the sport. They have all stepped up to the challenges and have learned so much from this experience. Summary of our results is as follows:

Taya Taekwondo have achieved strong results at the first Unified NSW State Championships bringing home total of 17 Golds, 5 Silvers, 4 Bronze medals. Tournament was held at the Sydney Olympic Park Netball Central last Sunday, 10 April 2016. Summary of results are as follows:
