Our poomsae girls have achieved personal bests with their overall scores at their first Nationals. Our sparring athletes have fought hard with mixed results - 5 came home as National Champions and 4 lost their matches but learned a lot from the experience which will only make them stronger and wiser.

Overall a fantastic result for Team Taya!  The team and their families all enjoyed the team BBQ dinners at the poolside of the All Seasons Hotel where the team stayed for the duration of the 3-day event and had memorable experiences. Thank you to the parents for your loud cheering, support and encouragement. Well done Team Taya!!!

it was a successful long weekend of competitions at the 2017 Sydney Taekwondo Festival held last June 11-12 at the Liverpool Catholic Club with Team Taya winning a total tally of 26 medals - 17 Golds, 7 Silvers, 2 Bronzes and awarded as the Best Club of the Tournament. There were some disappointing results but overall a successful team outcome. Our cadets have backed up their strong performances at the Australian Team Selections just the day before and equally did well at the Festival with Ysabella Querubin winning her two divisions and awarded the Best Female Cadet Athlete of the tournament. Our young athletes have displayed tenacity, strong focus and maturity beyond their years which was behind the team's success. Well done Team Taya!!!
