Team TAYA had a massive weekend last December 2-3, 2023 with Term 4 Grading including Black Belt Dan/Poom Promotion where 4 of our athletes completed rigorous testing on Saturday followed by a hectic taekwondo competition at the inaugural KPNP NSW Open on Sunday.

It was great to finish the year 2023 with this last tournament where several of Team TAYA Athletes stepped up to a secondary division and some even competed in 3 divisions to assist with their skills development and court experience as they prepare to transition to the next age/belt/weight categories. Team TAYA brought home a medal tally of 38 medals - 18 Golds, 13 Silvers and 7 Bronzes.

It was also wonderful to see everyone having fun and camaraderie, cheering and supporting each other.

Thank you to our Coaches for your dedication and guidance, our Athletes for your commitment and hard work, our Black Belts for your leadership and assistance and for our loving parents for your enduring support and encouragement.

It has been a great 2023 and we look forward to an exciting 2024.
