The 5th Australian Open is scheduled on 16-17 August 2014 to be held at the State Sports Centre, Olympic Park, Homebush. This competition will also serve as the Australian National Team Selection Trials for the upcoming World Poomsae Championships. We wish Abby Sangalang, Jordan Elliott and Isaiah (Aya) Mercado in their respective divisions with Jordan and Aya competing for the first time at the Australian Open in black belt junior sparring and black belt poomsae under 30 years divisions.
