The Final Selection Event will be held on Sunday, 3 February 2013 at Whitlam Leisure Centre, 90 Memorial Avenue, Liverpool NSW for the Australian Senior National Team to contest the upcoming World Championships in May 2013 in Puebla, Mexico on 15 to 21 July 2013. Our very own Abby Sangalang qualified for the final selection event and hoped to represent Australia in the under 46 kgs division in her first stint in the Seniors division.  However, following the recent changes to the WTF Age Divisions for Seniors now from 17 years and older, Juniors now from 15-17 years and Cadets now from 12-14 years, Abby is not eligible to contest this event as she is under 17 years old.  Come and watch a high level taekwondo competition from Australia's best taekwondo athletes.
