Sports Taekwondo Australia in cooperation with the Australian Institute of Sport is holding the Australian National Team Selection Trials for the World Championships to be held from 10 - 16 May 2015 at Chelyabinsk, Russia which is a G12 WTF event. The Selection Trials will be held at the AIS in Canberra on 8 February 2015. We wish our very own Junior Instructor / Athlete Abby Sangalang all the best as she competes at the Selection Trials with the hope of winning a berth in Team AUS in her division of under 46 kgs and represent Australia once again at the World Championships but this time in the Seniors League. She proudly represented Australia at last year's World Junior Championships held in Taiwan, Taipeh from 23-26 March 2014 and has performed very well. She wants to continue her journey towards becoming one of Australia's elite taekwondo athletes and compete at this prestigious event where the world's best vie for the top spot and rankings.
