At the last NSW State Championships held at the State Sports Centre, Olympic Park at Homebush on 11 December 2011, Abby won her match convincingly with a strong win of 17 – 4 over her opponent with the match being stopped due to superiority. This is a strong achievement and provides Abby with additional fight experience in her preparation for the upcoming Australian Junior National Team Selection Trials on 5 February 2012 in Altone Park, Perth, Western Australia.

She continues to undergo intensive training to develop her craft and work towards achieving her potential as a future elite taekwondo athlete to hopefully represent Australia in international competitions.
